En la Gran Bretaña de finales del siglo XIX, el joven Jonathan Joestar conoce a su nuevo hermano adoptivo, Dio Brando, quien únicamente quiere usurparle el puesto de heredero de la familia Joestar a Jonathan. No obstante, su plan fracasa y decide usar una máscara de piedra de origen mesoamericano que lo convierte en un vampiro, obteniendo la inmortalidad y poderes sobrenaturales. Jonathan, junto a su maestro del Hamon Will A. Zeppeli y a un matón callejero llamado Robert E.O. Speedwagon, deberá detener y destruir a Dio ahora que su objetivo es dominar a todo el mundo. Serie basada en el famoso manga de mismo nombre. La primera temporada abarca dos arcos argumentales diferentes "Phantom Blood" y "Battle Tendency".
